Red Sunrise comes from Renegade Tea Estate in Gumati, Imereti, a region in western Georgia with a long history of tea cultivation. The estate's approach centres on hand-harvesting, small-batch production, and experimenting with processing recipes to explore the character of Georgian tea plants.


What distinguishes Red Sunrise is its relatively high degree of oxidation. This develops a deeper flavour profile than a lightly oxidised oolong, while retaining the complexity and aromatic qualities associated with the category.
