Matcha is a type of green tea which has been stone-ground into a delicious and delicate powder.

With its name literally translating to 'ground tea', matcha contains 137 times more antioxidants than regular green tea. Before harvesting, the young tea leaves are shaded for three to four weeks to stock up on large amounts of chlorophyll,  producing amino acids and L-theanine. This is what helps increase our alpha brain waves, promoting both creativity and relaxation!

The flavour profile of our matcha is sweet and creamy with hints of cocoa and 'umami' - which means "essence of deliciousness" in Japanese.
